G'day all My name is Ross Nye. Having purchased a partially restored Rapier Fast Back.
I am hoping to get advise from this forum and maybe parts to complete the restoration.
We are located in Melbourne Australia. The car was imported new in 1968
and has still got the original registration plates. It has already been derusted, But is painted a non standard green.
One question I have is what colour was the engine and its accesories.?

Hi Ross and welcome to the forum. It's not the busiest of places but someone normally responds to questions eventually!

Looks like a good project you have, although it looks blue to me, not green!

The engine block should be blue. If you look at my resto thread HERE you'll see. I used chrysler blue, some people use a darker blue which I think is a ford engine colour.

Hope that is of some help.
