Our General Secretary (Ron Atherton) spent many many hours sifting through all of the club magazines and extracting technical articles in order to produce The Rapier Guide. It has been on offer to members' for a while, but we are now extending this to any non-members who may want a copy. It is biased towards 'Series' cars, but many things still apply to Fastbacks & there are some Fastback features. There are some very useful items covering most of the sections you would find in a Workshop Manual in there; particularly:-
Electric’s
Carburation
Brakes
Tuning
Trim repairs
Rust proofing
Much of the 'Series' stuff is from the regular articles on maintenance called 'Of Spanners & Things' written by Jim Kowalczyk for Cut & Thrust Magazine in the 1980's.
There are part no's for brakes, colour codes & time-lines of Rapier history. Why not get a copy and have all this valuable info in one place.
Enquiries to The webmaster in the first instance. Price to non-members is £25 + appropriate postage depending on where in the world you are. The book is around 225 pages, spiral bound and weighs in at around 1kg.
Glen.

I would like to purchase a copy. I am in the USA, what would be the cost and how would you like me to pay you?

Thanks,
Louis
