On an action site at the moment for £8,995.00.
Metallic Blue with black vinyl roof and black stripe. Reg BGN595H.

Is this an original H120 and whats with the interior, looks Humber Sceptreish to me?

That car was not a genuine H120, it was in fact a recreation based on a car that was rescued from a scrapyard.

The rear seat was a custom job out of a capri.

All the work on the car was done by the owner, he made a good job of it.

There was a picture of the car in cut and thrust with my write up from Shepton Mallet.

Thought the same myself.
When I saw the engine I thought it was standard Rapier with a Holbay rocker cover. Maybe it is? Don't know why you would retro fit twin strombergs to a Holbay (interim measure if your Webbers were playing up?).

Surely this car is know to the club?

Just checked to post 'H120 and counting' and its not on the 'known' list of genuine H120's.

But I guess the vendor isn't actually saying it is a H120.

It doesn't say anywhere in the description that it is an H120 and surely as 1970 it would have the oil temp gauge where the Ameter is?

1972 Rapier H120

At least the carburetors are wrong! This are Zenith-Stromberg carburetors just as they were installed on the Rapiers.

Peter
