Posted - 27 Nov 2017 : 00:12:51 Hi. I currently own Rod Graydon's Silver Fastback in Brisbane, Australia. The fuel tank vents via the fuel cap. However, it leaves a fuel stain down the side of the car. Has anyone experienced this problem and how did they cure it? Would increasing the size of the vent hole help? When the cap is opened fuel dribbles down from the cap. Can only be vapour as it happens regardless of the quantity of fuel in the tank! Your thoughts would be most welcome. Thanks in anticipation |

Posted - 30 Nov 2017 : 09:07:38 Hello, yes, that's a nice car. Is the seal round the cap in good order? If not it can vent via this rather than the correct place. Club has them for £4 + postage & packing - cheaper if you are a member :-). Cheers. G. |
