Hi Guys,

The restorations been on hiatus for a while now but finally got the shell blasted and primed, really pleased and surprised how solid it is overall, best shell I've seen in a long while. Tried to load images but no luck as ever.

Just wondering if anyone can advise on any available panel repair sections vs getting them made up or if anyone has anything they would be willing to sell, wings etc.?

Cheers

I know a couple of years ago Alpine W. Mid's suppliers were going through some problems. Up until then I hadn't heard any bad stories.

I don't know what they're like now though...

Trouble is most people have panels as insurance and don't want to sell them, I know I don't!

I've seen a few sets of sills on ebay recently, wings are like gold dust!

Thanks for the replies. Going to need sills and front wings mainly along with various patch work and the wings could be saved with some front tips and rear strips.

Had a look a Alpine W. Midlands but read some bad feedback on time taken to produce the parts but will be worth a shot.

These guys www.steelpanels.co.uk do some panels including sills contacted them and they can make panels up in sets of 10's but need the original NOS part to template from.

Have you tried Alpine W. Midlands?

I think the club has odd panels but you're better off scouring ebay etc. Some of the panels are available from specialists but others are like rocking horse poo, especially nos wings.

Do you have a list of items that you want?
