Hi there,
Just looking into converting the Rapier to negative earth so I can fit an alternator. The rev counter says positive earth only, what do I need to do to allow me to switch it? I have switched it on a car before but it wasnt as advanced as the Rapier!

Many thanks, Tom

I'm guessing you have a Series IV as earlier cars had a mechanical rev counter, so it did not matter. I would say you need a rev counter from a Ser V as these were neg earth, if I remember correctly from another thread that our well informed member 'pruyter' advised on.
I guess a + earth rev counter could be changed, but may not be cost effective? I'm sure there will be other more knowledgeable responses too! Cheers. G.
