I have an engine with Sunbeam on the valve cover. The only numbers I can find are A3807803 on the block. Can anyone help me figure out what this is and/or what it may have come in new?
Thanks

Peter is of course correct, but just to add that it is not one from a list of surviving Series II we know of, but one from in-between two Cypress/Iceberg Green ones that at the last count, were still about - A3807738 & A3808069. G

It is an engine which belongs originally in a Sunbeam Rapier series II.
The engine has an cast iron cylinderhead and is giving 1494 cc.

Regards,

Peter
