I like a car that looks normal but really knocks your socks off!!

Sounds like a plan Stags are a very hard car to restore as they have alot internal sections of the body, but its not a problem

Thanks for the comments guys, wish i could spend more time on than I get spare. Spent all afternoon sorting my mates mgb gt out. It was running like a pig. Sounds alot better now though after stripping all the carbs/manifolds off and re gasketing
If only there were enough call for classics and restorations, I would open a place tomorrow

Nice progress Jon, You work magic with that welder...

Could u guys use me as a mechanic, sander,...? Perhaps during the holidays?
I'd love to do this as a holiday job, er even as my day job (after school)

Great Work!!!

Business Mission Statement - Get as many fastbacks back on the road as possible!

Not sure how much I would bring to the party, you're the clever one with the welding torch!

Here is the update:

Bit of zinc weld through primer

Bit of a tricky panel to make as its a double curve, could have done with a shrink/stretcher machine but came out ok

Punched holes in to plug weld

Bit more progress

Im planing on cutting the seam section out and making a new one as there is rust forming in the joint.Dont want to be coming back here in the future

Coated it in zinc weld through primer to keep the rust down in the joint
