Thanks Glen.
I bet you had some fun doing that journey.

Do you have any good pics of them? That would be great to see.
I couldn't agree more there really doesn't seem to be an end to this rain. ..

Ah, you're brave men Martin. I did it 5 times in the 90's in a Minx & Rapier and that was hard enough.
All in a good cause: let's hope the weather is decent in June, at the moment there seems no end to this rain .
Cheers. G.

Hia Guys.

Part of the reason that UMU has been hidden away for so many months is that I have set myself a challenge for summer 2014.
I was a keen cyclist, until my first fastback stopped me in my tracks, now over 10 years on Ive decided to keep the mid-drift in check as well as get some of my former fitness back.

This has led me, plus a good friend to take up the task of cycling from Lands End to John o' Groats.
We will be taking just under two weeks to complete this, starting Sunday 29 June.

Richard (my cycling buddy) lost his father to cancer the other year, so we will be trying to raise money for this cause.

If you feel inclined, follow the link to see the page he has created...https://www.justgiving.com/Richard-Nelson3/
Many thanks

Ps once complete - it better have stopped raining as UMU will be stretching her legs once again.

Martin
