Fitting a solid pulley gives no trouble at all! It is not for nothing that Alpine Innovations offer this pulley just like other providers do the same!

My Series V Sunbeam Rapier has an oil leak from the Timning Chain Cover Crankshaft Pulley and I'm thinking of changing my timing chain cover to one that incorporates an oil seal. The crankshaft pulley that is currently fitted is a damped one and in rather a sorry state (photo Attached).
I'd appreciate opinions on whther or not it is wise to fit a new undamped aluminium one which is available with the timing chain cover from Alpine Innovations.

Regards to all
and Thanks to all who respond
