White Rapier H120 CRU 800L. This is the white one that started out as a Wardance red (always thought the colour should have stayed the same). I think it would be more appealing in its original colour scheme of Wardance with a large black stripe but each to his own.
Now in (old english looking white) with Minilites.
starting bid £5500. seems reasonable when I think of the junk I saw for £4000 4 years ago but got the Karmann ghia now.

Yep, thought I'd join in and get it on eBay.

Good luck,
If I was in the market, this would be on my list.

Was it you that restored it or has it changed hands since being saved?

Bit of both, I bought it from the chap who saved it and he did a nice job and did all the jobs I'm not great at, so the car is solid. I'm with you in that I'd probably have stuck with the original colour but it does look good in Old English White.
I like my car's to be up to use as a daily driver, so I set about making it just that. All the bits that play you up with a classic got sorted and I know now if I walk into the shed it'll start after being sat for a week and I can go out for the day with no worries.
