There are 'Parts Funds' set
up for both the Series & Fastback models. GBP3.00 out of the members annual
subscription is put into the parts fund to enable the Spares Secretaries
to purchase parts, or arrange to have certain 'hard to get' items re-manufactured.
Lists are available only to SROC club members, and these are issued on
an annual basis and sent out with the magazine.
We are not averse to selling parts to non SROC members, though the cost
of these will be higher than members can obtain them for.
It is the Sunbeam Rapier Owners Club policy to only purchase and supply
New or New 'old stock' parts to avoid possible problems which may arise
from supplying used parts. We do, however, have a number of contacts for
people with used and second-hand parts for sale, and we will happily put
members and non members in touch with such people in the event that we
cannot supply a part. We do not hold any responsibility for any consequences
arising from any subsequent transactions that may occur between the parties.
