Hi
I have just painted my engine and I used primer before I painted it with car paint(paint mixed with hardener). Not use spray, it will not stand against gasolin
Jane. It is best to ask a professional which are painting cars. If you dont use primer, the pait will fall of after some time.

So here is a question for all the seasoned restorers and anyone with experience of spraying.

As you know i am going to spray my engine bay and I am currently getting is all rubbed down ready.

I have bought primer to use before applying any colour but now starting to wonder if I need to.

What would the recommendation be??
