Yes, we are now set for a fantastic event next year from 14 - 16 August at a great venue, Wyboston Lakes Resort Bedfordshire, which is right on the border with Cambridgeshire near St Neots. Primarily an event for "Sunbeam's with member's of Alpine, Tiger & Rapier Club's all involved.

Owning any Rapier will provide you with a unique driving experience. These sharply styled and glamorous open-sided pillar-less coupés offer incomparable features for modern budget conscious classic car owners.
The Rootes Group were renowned for body design and amazing technological advances. From the outset the Rapier offered personal luxury and an unmatched driving experience with a 6-speed gearbox (taking into account overdrive gears on 3rd and 4th), soon after its 1955 launch, the engine boasted twin carbs: in 1959 front disc brakes were fitted and International Rally awards started to mount.
Each model was ahead of its time with no other mid-priced British market options coming close. Rootes provided a head-turning car with striking two-tone coachwork, loads of rally-bred dials on all models and many boasting that gentleman's walnut dashboard.
If having all the side windows open is not enough of a thrill then the convertible version was available from 1958-1963. From 1967 the Rapier name continued with the ultra-stylish Fastback, again a pillar-less coupé with bags of space and the possibility of a Holbay tuned H120 engine from 1968.
